I personally try not to gossip. However, I think it boils down to the fact that we like to know that as messed up as we feel inside, there are ppl with bigger problems. It surely doesnt feel good, but is yet satisfying. To some, it is an adiction as harsh as a drug. Seems like their lives depend on it.
