The teenagers are affected day to day by what is published in the gossip blog with characters issuing gossip to ‘Gossip Girl’. This show is especially appealing to teenagers as the show is very glamorous giving an insight on how the wealthy live in New York, and with lots of designer labels on show it contends with the television show ‘Sex and the City’ but for a much younger audience.
